Joe didn’t just fall into IT—he built it from the ground up with his father in Chicago, where they ran a proactive IT support company that focused on stability over quick fixes. After years of building that structure and trust, Joe brought the model to Charleston, SC. He purchased an existing company—previously focused on ad-hoc tech work and computer repair—and restructured it from the inside out.

Now, it’s all business IT. All proactive. All forward-moving.

At The Computer Guyz IT Services, LLC, we help small to mid-sized businesses stop reacting to problems and start planning ahead. Whether it’s managed IT support, full-service managed IT services (MSP), cybersecurity, or IT consulting services for growth and strategy, we bring structure to your systems and clarity to your operations.

Joe personally manages every client relationship. Behind the scenes, he’s supported by a small, dedicated crew—two full-time team members, his wife, his dad, and close colleagues who pitch in when needed. Even though the business is lean, it runs like a well-oiled machine. That’s because we don’t pretend to be bigger than we are—we just do solid work and build lasting partnerships.

While we’re focused on Charleston today, our eyes are on growth. Joe’s long-term plan is to expand into other cities and eventually scale the brand nationally. The model is proven. The process is tight. And the goal stays the same—bring sustainable IT support to businesses who are ready to stop patching problems and start building real infrastructure.

CEO

As CEO, I focus on bringing quality of service to all of our clients.  I love learning new technology and helping our clients improve their business operations.  On the IT side, we create systems that empower our clients and their teams to do their best work and love the tools that serve them.  On the Cybersecurity side, our job is to help our clients avoid the horror stories that cause so much stress, lost revenue, and worse for businesses who neglect to secure our systems.

I love to learn, design, and implement business-changing technology.  At The Computer Guyz IT Services, LLC, I have grown into a role that focuses on driving business operations and increasing efficiency.  I work with networking, servers, cloud platforms, and security systems to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability. My role involves troubleshooting complex technical issues, optimizing infrastructure, and deploying new technologies that enhance productivity and security.  By staying up to date with industry trends, I continuously improve system architectures and recommend strategic upgrades that align with business objectives.  Beyond technical expertise, I collaborate with clients and internal teams to assess needs, develop customized IT solutions, and provide ongoing support

Customer Acquisition

The Computer Guyz IT Services, LLC, I focus on identifying and evaluating companies that could benefit from our expertise.  I love analyzing financial statements, client operations, and service offerings to assess the viability of partnerships and have even overseen business acquisitions.  By negotiating deal structures that mitigate risk and ensure a smooth transition, I work to collaborate with our clients.  My role requires a deep understanding of IT service models, including managed services, break-fix support, and consulting, to strategically align acquisitions with our business objectives.  I love getting to know our clients and finding ways to better their business operations and profitability
